It was a great excuse to get back into the kitchen and play with some ideas I had been tossing around.
Lobster Breakfast - I'd done this one before so it was a good win... lobster toast served with a cuppichino of lobster bisque
Oysters on the half shell with truffled mignonette
Grilled sardines over dandelion greens
Crispy pork belly with coca-cola bbq sauce served with braised bok choy studded with lardons of house cured duck prochuito
The pork was not perfect, but it was darned good! I think scoring the fat would have helped it get even more crispy and maybe render out a bit more as well...
