The dining room was phase 2 (of 3 and 1/2). We removed the original screen porch, keeping its roof and slab floor. Since we wanted a bay window in the center of the room, we moved the door to the side; something that required a nice wrap-around deck (of course). We've been done with the dining room for some time, I'm embarrassed to say that I don't have a great "finished" picture! You can always fine more pics here on Flickr. |

The master bath was phase 3 (of 3 and 1/2) and its now (mostly) done. We chopped off about 1/4 of the orignal attic-come-2nd floor. We already had some plumbing from the existing half bath which we used to feed a new shower and his and her vanities. At this point in the we were pretty over-the-top... the counter tops are actually an exotica African hardwood called bobinga and the shower and floors are a form of slate. |
